Definition and Usage
The defaultValue property sets or returns the default value of a text area.
Note: The default value of a text area is the text between the <textarea> and </textarea> tags.

Syntax
Return the defaultValue property:
textareaObject.defaultValue
Set the defaultValue property:
textareaObject.defaultValue=text
